The town of Hasami in Nagasaki, Japan has a 400-year pottery tradition. The modular, stackable forms are rooted in the centuries-old Japanese tradition of tiered lacquerware called jubako that were traditionally used for bento boxes or New Year celebrations.  Coaster or lid for mug, sugar bowl, or creamer.
