Jakarta is the capital of Indonesia and the namesake of our longtime blend of coffees from the area.
The history of this blend goes way back to the days of Alfred Peet who spent years in Indonesia primarily as a tea taster early in his career. We remember him for his idea and inspiration.
This blend showcases the best qualities of coffee grown in the Indonesian Islands. An aromatic blend, this coffee is both rich and smooth, full-bodied, low in acidity, with an array of pleasant earthy tones.
